Halloween 2009

This year Mike went back and forth about what to be for Halloween. A bear, a pumpkin, Thomas....He finally decided to be a race car driver. #48, Jimmy Johnson in the Lowes Car. Henry was a dalmation. My mom had the costume left over from one of the kids. It fit him perfectly and despite the heat, he left it on. Mike kept telling people that Henry was his dog and his name was Jack. Then I heard him giving his "dog" commands in Spanish which cracked me up. "Abaho! Abaho!" I said "Mike, what are you telling him?" He looked at me in a "duh mom" kind of way and said "I'm telling him DOWN!"
We took the kids out with their cousins Caleb and Kennedy. Caleb was a football player. Fitting since he's a pretty beefy kid. Kennedy was a pirate princess.

Ode to Uncle Matt & Dad

There is a rumor that back in the day Uncle Matt sported a rat tail and Ol'Dad wore leotards. The tradition continues.
