Hello Gorgeous

Snow Day!

This week it snowed here! Word has it that the last time it snowed with any accumulation was in 2003. Everything was closed. Schools, businesses and the bases were operating on essential personnel only. It was a big reaction to 2 inches of snow! Mike of course loved it. He wanted to go out every chance he could. He was very disappointed when he woke up the next day and it had all melted!

Brotherly Love

Since Henry was born, Mike has shown little to no interest in him at all. Lately though, he seems to be warming up to him a bit. He was even sharing his bulldozer! This is no small feat considering everything in the world is "mine!"

Henry's Baptism

Henry's baptism was over Christmas break at St. Ben's. As usual, Father Joel did a very nice job and the ceremony went smoothly. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Way Behind-

Well since we have returned from Christmas vacation, I have been in SLOW mode. Just tonight I finally finished all of our laundry. The house has looked like a bomb went off since we got back and there doesn't seem to be any like at the end of this tunnel! Henry is still not sleeping through the night. Tonight we moved him into our room, we are going to sleep in the guest room and let him cry it out a little more. Since I have been terrified of Henry waking Mike up, one of us usually rushes in to get him before he makes too much noise. Big Mistake!
On a much more hilarious note, Michael has become quite the copy cat. He loves the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. One of the lines that Alvin says is "Helloooo Georgeous!" Mike said that during his physical therapy session and it was the funniest thing ever.
Also very funny was Henry's 4 month check up. As luck would have it, his head circumference was also off the charts this visit. Mike also took that honor but he didn't get there until around 7 months. So even though this is a chronic issue with our kids, we are now being sent to a neurologist to make sure there are no problems. Now, just so you know, I will feel really bad if there is a problem but since Mike had the same issue, I think it's familial.
And finally, for anyone who didn't know, we are expecting baby number three!I have not been to the dr yet because the extremely intelligent people who run the Naval hospital here decided that it would be wise to raise the baby quota up from 150 babies a month to 200! So what that means is anyone who becomes pregnant and needs to see a dr will have to wait at least 6 weeks to get an appointment. That is customer service at it's best. So by then I think I will be well into my second trimester. By my rough estimate, I am thinking this one should be due around Sept-October. We will see. I will keep everyone updated.
