Baby Jordyn!

Here she is, Ms. America! Ha Ha. Here's Hannah and Adam's new baby Jordyn! She's so cute and looks a lot like her mom!

Hannah and Adam finally had their baby! After being a week over due, the doctors finally induced Hannah. Jordyn was born today and she weighed 7lbs 11oz. The poor girl was too late for an epidural so she had to do it the old fashioned way! What a champ! We don't have any pictures of the little one yet, but when we do I will post them!

Our New Place

Here are some pictures of our new place. It's in Topsail Beach, NC. We are less than a block from the beach! It's very exciting, but it's hard to make decisions when you can't see it in person. The realtor said that our neighbor is a Wilmington Police officer so that makes me feel safe! The picture of the actual house if very blurry. Sorry abou that. There is also a picture of Joe's Helicopter.

Updates!

Well Joe is on his way back from his last cross country flight. He is nearing the end of flight school now. Mike has added rice cereal to his diet. He thinks it's the best. My Dad and Wendy came to visit this weekend. We had a good time just hanging out. My Dad's birthday was on Sunday. Ol'47. I made him a cake to celebrate. Training is going fine. There are 4 5k races coming up in the next month. I think we're going to enter a few of them for practice! This past weekend was also the start of lots of visitors!! yay! I love that time. Abbie should be coming down around the 6th of March. Then my family will be coming around the 1st week of April. Next I believe Joe's family will be coming around mid April for his winging and then off we go to our next destination! We will find out where that will be when we get a little closer to the end. So, I hope everyone is doing well. Hopefully the snow and ice will be gone soon and spring will brighten up your days! If not, just come visit! Bye!

First Week

Well Joe and I are at the end of one full week of training. We started last Thursday. So far it's going pretty well. Of course he's in much better shape than I am, but each run is getting easier and longer. So far the longest is 3 miles, but our long run this week is 4. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't lose a lung. Michael just loves it. He rides along in the stroller while we run on the trail. He thinks it's a blast. It's the only time he will forget that he's not eating! We might have to invest in one of those running stollers though. I'm not sure how long this one will last. It's not meant to be driven at a high rate of speed. Sometimes the wheels lock up and Joe gets embarrassed because it makes him stumble a little:) Poor guy, he has to push because I can barely get myself through the workout, let alone me and a stroller! Ok, well that's the latest! I hope everyone is surviving the cold! Not too much longer and spring will be here!

Shots!!!

Today was Michael's 8 week visit to the doctor. Unfortunately for him that meant shots! Yuck! He didn't cry after the first one, but then he realized what was happening and continued to cry for the rest of our visit. He's in the normal range for height, weight and head circumference. He now weighs 12 lbs 15 oz and is 23 inches long. I figured I would put new pictures up since it's been a little while.

Beach Baby!

Today Joe and I decided to go down to Pensacola Beach. It was a really nice day. The waves were huge and it was about 75. There were actually surfers out today despite the red flag conditons! Michael had a good time. He even ate his lunch on the Pier.

Michael had his first bath in the tub this weekend. He seemed to like it. Good thing since he's got a bad habit of spitting up and going to the bathroom all over the place!

Surprise!

The surprise party for Joe went really well. He had no idea even though I had gotten a little sloppy hiding it near the end! I didn't get a chance to take many pictures, but a friend of mine caught him when he just got home. It's funny because he has an armload of baby stuff! He's a regular Mr. Mom!

Our Chirstmas Tree

We went a few days after Thanksgiving to get out tree. That was hunt! Good Christmas trees are hard to find around here and trees that are a reasonable price are even harder. We finally found this tree at a church in a town near ours. There was only one place in Milton(where we live) to get them and they were between $80 and $150! Whoa! Joe was scouting trees along the side of the road for a while. No luck there either!

Michael is Here!!!

Michael finally arrived on November 29th. He weighed in at 8lbs 8oz. A lot of people think he looks like his Dad, but you can decide for yourself. We are so sorry for anyone who didn't receive pictures. We tried to send them to everyone on Saturday, but a lot of them didn't go through. After a lot of work by his Mom, he finally joined us outside the belly at 4:58pm. Joe thought the one of him with no clothes on was so funny because he looks like he's a rapper.
